The former president's Family Member Gets Professional Tips from Tiger Woods Before LPGA Debut

Emerging athlete preparing for significant competition

This young athlete maintains considerable social media following

The young golfer will have plenty of high-profile cheerleaders when she starts her LPGA debut this Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be connected to a former US president, received a sponsor's invitation to compete at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.

The former president, a passionate golfer, possesses several golf courses and regularly competes against his granddaughter.

"He's fairly competent. I can't reveal details but we have tight competitions," she revealed.

Kai explained that Trump, unable to come, told her: "Simply stay calm."

"My grandpa basically suggested to compete and have fun," she explained.

"From my perspective, he's simply an ordinary family member. He's not attending for the tournament. He's occupied with world affairs, making him somewhat preoccupied."

As an amateur, Kai has competed in just three tournaments in 2024 and has the 461st position in AJGA listings.

Yet she can get advice from Tiger Woods, who is dating Kai's mother.

"He represents the greatest golfer globally," the young golfer said.

"Furthermore, he's a superior person. He told me to compete, have fun, adapting to whatever happens."

The golfer will compete against some of most prominent players in the sport at this tournament, including second-ranked Nelly Korda, England's Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.

Officials stated that her participation exposes golf to different demographics, specifically among youth audiences.

The social media influencer has substantial online presence and recently launched a personal clothing and lifestyle brand.

Her first tee time at 17:30 GMT.
